If intro is delicate Cmaj9 arpeggios and the ending suddenly becomes a giant blues cliché, it may feel disconnected unless intentionally contrasting.
Try reusing:
- same motif,
- same voicing,
- same register,
- same rhythmic idea
at the end.
This creates symmetry.
