Write a 32-bar improvised-style solo étude.
Requirements:
- no phrase begins on beat 1 during first 8 bars
- one phrase crosses at least three chord boundaries
- one cadence functions as a comma
- one later cadence functions as a period
- one antecedent/consequent pair
- one phrase extension
- one truncated motif
- one elided phrase where ending and beginning overlap
- one target note reserved until bar 24 or later
- one phrase begins before a chorus/section boundary and continues through it
- climax occurs before the final phrase
- last four bars simplify dramatically
The étude should sound like a narrative, not a catalog of devices.
