86.113The mature form question

Not:

“What section comes next?”

But:

“What is the current music trying to become?”

Sometimes the answer is:

more intense.

Sometimes:

simpler.

Sometimes:

another key.

Sometimes:

silence.

Sometimes:

the melody again.

That question produces continuity.
