Bar 1: Cmaj9 voicing X.

Bar 2: Am7 voicing Y.

Bar 3: Dm9 voicing Z.

Write rules:

• first phrase stays sparse
• melody always foreground
• bass moves mostly stepwise
• no altered harmony before phrase 3
• fills only during rests
• phrase 4 cadence is strongest

Now many note-level realizations can work.
