Phrase 2
same melody fragmented into 2+2+2 accents.
Phrase 3
four-beat fragment begins cycling independently across the 6-beat bars.
Bridge-like moment
switch to 4/4.
The four-beat fragment suddenly locks perfectly.
Final phrase
return to 6/4.
The motif starts floating again.
Then final rhythmic + harmonic arrival together.
At this stage, you are no longer merely “playing Happy Birthday in another style.”
You are composing with its recognizable DNA.
