Early chorus:
two-beat bass and occasional RH responses.
Later:
walking quarters continue unwaveringly.
RH accompaniment becomes increasingly syncopated.
Melody should float independently above both.
At a late chorus climax:
allow block/melody/bass rhythm to synchronize briefly like a big-band shout.
Then separate again.
This gives the arrangement actual ensemble behavior rather than merely changing chord voicings.
