You hear a dense recording and ask:
“What chord is that?”
Too early.
The sound may contain:
- bass note
- melody
- guitar
- piano
- horns
- strings
- background vocals
- percussion
- extensions
Trying to identify one giant chord from the total spectrum is unnecessarily difficult.
