Suppose destination is E♭maj7.

Before B♭7, you could add:

Fm7.

Before Fm7, you might add:

Cm7 → F7? depending context.

This is back-cycling:

moving backward around the circle to create more approach.

But in a tune already harmonically active, use sparingly.
