26.98The connection to the original Nahre Sol goal

Remember the long-term goal:

take a simple melody and transform it into something much richer while keeping its identity.

This workshop gives you another transformation dimension.

You can take a simple melody and make it darker not by adding dozens of notes, but by changing:

  • one bass note
  • one inner chromatic voice
  • one delayed resolution
  • one altered dominant

That is exactly the kind of compositional control we were aiming for.
