74.19Level 9 — pedal through a chord change

Suppose:

C → F.

Instead of moving bass immediately to F:

keep C pedal.

Play:

F/C.

Then later move bass:

C→F.

Now the IV harmony appears first as color over tonic.

Then becomes full IV.

This weakens the boundary.
