7.40Repeated melody note can support moving harmony

Suppose melody repeats G:

G G G G

Underneath:

C → Em → G7 → C

The same note becomes:

5th → minor 3rd → root → 5th

This is a wonderful exercise because it teaches:

harmony can create motion even when melody does almost nothing.
