109.166Mini-project 1 — Transition Laboratory

Take an A and B section from your original composition.

Create five transitions:

1. Direct

hard cut.

2. Harmonic

pivot/dominant.

3. Melodic

motif bridge.

4. Bass-led

bass changes first.

5. Rhythmic

groove morph.

Do not change A or B.

Compare how the same sections acquire different relationships.
