You should gradually build several patterns that your hands know automatically.
Pattern A — block
Good for:
- dramatic accents
- hymns
- simple accompaniment
Pattern B — bass + chord
Good for:
- pop
- ballads
- accompanying singing
Pattern C — arpeggio
Good for:
- ballads
- romantic style
- introspective music
Pattern D — Alberti
Good for:
- classical flavor
- lighter textures
Pattern E — waltz
Good for:
- 3/4
Pattern F — open fifth + upper chord
Good for:
- modern solo piano
- cinematic texture
These become tools, not rules.
