Try this sequence:

Dm7 → G7 → Cmaj7

then:

Gm7 → C7 → Fmaj7

then:

Cm7 → F7 → B♭maj7

then:

Fm7 → B♭7 → E♭maj7

You are moving destination keys around the flat side of the circle.

Then go the other way later.
