11.42Back-cycling
Suppose destination is C.
Before C:
G7
Before G7:
Dm7
Before Dm7, you can introduce:
A7
So:
A7 → Dm7 → G7 → C
Before A7:
Em7
So:
Em7 → A7 → Dm7 → G7 → C
Now you have a longer chain of ii–V relationships.
This is sometimes called back-cycling.
