4.10Left hand and right hand can divide the chord

Once your left hand is playing the root, your right hand does not always need the root too.

For example:

Left hand:

C

Right hand:

E–G

E–G

That still clearly sounds like C major.

For Am:

Left hand:

A

Right hand:

C–E

C–E

For F:

Left hand:

F

Right hand:

A–C

A–C

This simplifies your voicings.

It also avoids muddy low-register chords.
