4.15Slash chords

This is where notation like:

G/B

becomes important.

It means:

G major chord, but B is the lowest note.

The chord notes are still:

G B D

but B is in the bass.

Likewise:

C/E

means:

C major, E in bass.

F/A

means:

F major, A in bass.

Slash chords appear constantly in pop charts.
