Over G7, B♭ minor pentatonic is built from:

♯9/♭3 region.

This creates strong altered tension.

Over some dominants, this “minor pentatonic from a chromatic root” shortcut is extremely useful.

But do not memorize a giant lookup table yet.

Master one.
